As long as you have a  An EU (or EU equivalent) Covid certificate  you no longer need to complete an SpTH form. Full details on link below

Hi Lynn,

Thanks for this - one less piece of paperwork for us to have to complete when returning to Spain!

With Easter travel plans in mind, I think it's worth drawing attention to the fact that this doesn't alter the mandatory requirement for Third Country (including UK) non-residents to have been vaccinated in order to enter Spain for tourism purposes.  It just means that a compatible Covid vaccination certificate (and the UK's certificate does comply) is sufficient, so you don't need to complete the Spanish health form as well.

Kind regards,

Kim

Thank you Lynn.  So for fully vaccinated UK residents no locator forms are required at all now.  That has to be great news!

Thanks Lynn,

I presume under 12s will still need this completed?

It's not been updated on the U.K. Gov site yet!! Hopefully soon.

Kind Regards Clive

Looks like there was some potentially incorrect information given out by government officials yesterday as the BOE gives different advice.

SpTH site is being updated, so hold back those horses, and watch this space!

Hi,

At the moment the SPTH site home page says that everyone aged 12 and over must either have one of the documents below OR they must complete the Spanish Health form.

---------------------

An EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE OR EU EQUIVALENT of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative certificate of an active infection diagnostic test or a recovery certificate after having this disease

--------------------

I'm not sure what the second item is "a negative certificate of an active infection diagnostic test"? I would presume it means a negative covid test? Is that what your waiting clarification or is it something else?

As it stands now I would not complete the SPTH form as I have a valid UK vaccination certificate.

Aitch.

Hello,

On the UK GOV site, it says

All travellers

Before travel to Spain, everyone (including children under 12 years old, see Children and young people) travelling by air or sea must fill in and sign an online Health Control Form.

On arrival into Spanish ports and airports you must show the QR code (hardcopy or digital) issued when you completed the online Health Control Form before travel.

The additional documentation you must present on entry when travelling from the UK to Spain is determined by your reason for travel:

Hello Lynn

I've seen this in the independent newspaper earlier today and wondered if it's was correct.

Sue 😘
