Worlds shittest banks are in Spain, if you're rich they give you free accounts if you're poor they charge you.... surely it should be the other way round

Customer Service are dirty words in Spain they take your money, but try and get any problems sorted out and you are on your own. Wouldn't it be nice if when there is a problem we hear the words " I'm sorry you have a problem, let me see what I can do to sort it out for you" Friend of ours was getting text messages from her Bank advising her there was an update needed and if she did not do it her account would be frozen so into the Bank my friend went showed the text messages to the cashier who looked blankly at her and said she had no idea what it was about. Rather than say, sorry I don't know but let me find out for you. My friend was left none the wiser. Looking blank seems to be the default position for anyone in customer facing roles, wonder if they go on a training course to perfect the look, oh and let's not forget the spanish shrug taught along side the blank look and miserable g*t.

Its all of them, sabdel in particular. They take direct debits out sometimes a week early because the first is on a weekend then charge you because you havent yet put the money in and then charge you for missing their unknown change of plan to the agreement so charged 80euro. I'm in debt because they wouldn't take payment from me when I wanted to pay my credit card early, I was informed that I had to wait and pay it over three months, even though I knew in three months I would have the money, it was just coming upto the pandemic

Thieves and liars.

The Sabadell bank  in La Marina confirmed they had cancelled my insurance policy with them. Its only later when I tried to close my account and they said I couldn't as I had my insurance with them that I realised they had still taken the following years premium for that policy. The teller then claimed I had never cancelled it until I showed him the e-mails from him personally that confirmed I had, he then reluctantly closed my account but I never got the refund he promised.

I am not surprised the cashier had no idea. These types of messages are usually spam or phishing of some kind and should usually not be touched with the proverbial barge pole.
