Hi all trust your all keeping safe.

One concern, we bought our place in March 2020 but could not take procession until November due covid lockdown and a double hip replacement. Since arrival we have been busy registering for padron, residency, S1 health cover and changing driving licence.
We have padron, paper residency TIE certificate, paper sip card, and successful driving licence medical certificate. But finding it difficult to get appointments at police station for fingerprints bad traffic office to exchange licence!

Now the concern I’ve been invited for a covid jab do I return back for it and if so can I return?

Hi Jeff, well done for getting everything in place and best wishes for all things good in your new home.

Technically you are free to travel and your TIE will get you back in if the restrictions on access continue further.

Thing is you are required to self isolate for 10 days immediately on UK arrival so I'm not sure if you could do that before your vaccination date.

The roll out here has been slow so far but it's expected to speed up fairly soon so sitting tight and being patient might be the best option.

However, you need to get your plastic SIP card and you need to register a Spanish phone number with them so they can call you when they're ready for you.
