Can anything be done about the music coming from a villa close to us ? Loud,we cannot hear our tv because of it.This will happen any day,morning noon and,night.I rang the police last week,after midnight they told me not to ring again.

We had this with our Spanish neighbour a few years ago. TV blasting out till around 02.00. I called the Police and they came round and stopped it. The problem is the walls are so thin.

I'm sure that as the OP is totally fed up with it that he could be rude back. Rude or not I would still have a word.....who knows, it might solve the problem!

It also seems to be the only option. If the police aren't prepared to intervene then the O.P can either try talking to the villa owners or just tolerate it & hope that their holiday doesn't last too long.

Tried,the speakers are as large as our fridge freezer,placed outside the villa,which from ours is two villa's away,not many other villa's occupied.The people are French nationals,we understand they are on holiday,hope so,now we have a lull,if like last week it will start later into the early hours of Monday,this not some radio 2 turn down a little will you,this is noise you would expect from large outside speakers,yes live and let live,but with some respect.

Are the French occupants the owners, or are they renting the property? If the latter, does the property have a tourist licence displayed? The police should respond to noise nuisance, but failing that, if the property is being rented out illegally, that should capture their attention.

They are renters,i will look for the licence,what i have noticed is different cars,different people coming and going all the time,but always French number plates.
