Live wallpapers on a HuaweiY5

Hi everybody- my son and I both have what is supposed to be exact same models of Huawei Y5 2019. On mine though, there are live wallpapers installed under Settings- Home screen & wallpaper. On my son's, no live wallpapers (?) So I went to MediaMarkt and swapped his device. Come home and still no live wallpapers on his device, after all the faff of setting it up... So next, I swapped devices (Sim swap) with him after signing out of everything, restoring the device to original settings etc etc and now, none of us have live wallpapers! I know we can get apps with live wallpapers but that doesn't explain the mystery above. YouTube is no help either, just shows where you change them under Settings, which I know. Any ideas? Thanks all!
