Can anyone help please?

I have found the online social security site where I can apply for an EHIC card. For some reason I keep getting an error message because I live on a ‘poligono’ which has its own number but another part of my address is a ‘partida’.Both appear in the menu under ‘Tipo de via’. I have tried all sorts of variations, to make the site accept my address and I don’t know where to put my house number (under ‘ Puerta’?). The ‘puerta’ looks as if I live in a block of flats, which I don’t…any ideas anyone? Thank you all in advance!

I know that they would send the EHIC cards to the address I am known under, regardless but I still have to get past this stage on the application form…

Can you copy how it's written on your padrón?  Maybe, but not always, the boxes will coincide.

I think so many of us on here, have GHIC/EHIC  cards issued by the U.K.  as we  don’t qualify for Spanish issued cards. So that could be the reason that so few of us can help with completing the form. Maybe ask a Spanish citizen, as they must be used the completing the application form.

I note that you moved over in March 2019 so are we to assume that you are in the Spanish health system with SIP cards because if not then you will not be entitled to TSEs (Spanish EHICs).

Thank you all for taking the time to reply in my hour of need! Especially to nasus, didn’t think to look on our padron certificate, I will try that.

We pay in to the Spanish health system through our autonomo, so we qualify for a Spanish issue EHIC card.

All the best and thanks again!

You could try making an appointment at the INSS and take all your documents. I did that in Elda and they helped me. (Spanish speaking). I received the Spanish EHIC by post 3 days later. Job done.

Hi Jan

Yes, I may need to get in to the actual INSS office. Thank you :)
