No tests required to enter Sweden on Monday 19th July, but could only check in to Norwegian airlines 24 hours before the flight (Sunday afternoon) - and that’s when the ‘fun’ started. It was the airline that needed a pre-flight Covid test, not Sweden. Que calls to airport to ascertain test centre booked and anyway results would take 12hours. Will not go into last minute panic that ensued, safe to say I was at IMED hospital early Monday for my 40€ antigen test. Couple of hours later presented vax certificate and antigen negative result to checkin and that was it. Got to Sweden, collected case and walked out of airport into a mask-free, stress-free atmosphere. It’s so much better than constant reminders about, Alpha, Beta and Delta variants. Ok the virus is here, but there isn’t the pressure. Just thought I’d add my two pence to the debate!
