We have recently moved near to Elche and are looking for any British families in the area for meet ups, socialising, general get togethers and coffee!

We have 3 young children so going out is difficult unless we take the kids, which limits the amount of socialising we can do.  We live on a small, quiet Urbanizacion outside of the city and it's very quiet and not many people around.

We are often in Torrellano, Gran Alacant, Elche and Santa Pola.  Any help on good bars/restaurants/places to go in these areas is much appreciated.

Santa Pola market on Saturday, lots of Brits in the cafes between the market and Sabadell. You can socilaise and network there.

Hi we are Bobbie and George and live in Gran Alacant, we have been here for just over a year.  We are Scottish from Glasgow but lived in Aberdeen for many years.  We are a good bit older than you but if you don't mind that we are always happy to meet new people and at home we had friends of many different ages.   We have 5 young grandchildren who we miss a lot but see as often as we can and would always be up for a bit of babysitting if you ever wanted it.  I retired from teaching last year as my husband was already retired and did intend to do some work here but just have not got round to it - there is always plenty to do and we have a cocker spaniel who likes to get out and about.

Hi All, getting a bit confused with all the messages  from different people and not sure who I am replying too!  We would be delighted to meet up with anyone who would like to do so especially now that Christmas is over and things are getting back to normal.

Bobbie (Gran Alacant)
