LOOKING FOR FAMILIES WITH TEENAGERS - VISITING ELCHE 9TH-16TH APRIL WOULD LOVE TO MEET

Hi Guys 

We are in Santa Pola and have a very stroppy 16 year old boy.  No he's not too bad.

We arrive on 8th April.  We have a place in Santa Pola and are back and forth at the moment due to youngest doing exams.

There is a great shopping centre in Elche called L'Aljub.  If you are free it would be a great place to meet as it has a bowling alley and loads of restaurants.

Why not do, as I did, and create your own circle of friends by advertising on this website?  It costs nothing but a very small amount of time and I found 30 like minded people in this area, in one week, without even trying!

If you are in the Crevillent area and interested in horses then give me a call, I am selling a too big house and plot which would be ideal...…

Hi Paul and Mandy, sorry we missed you, we have only just joined the forum yesterday. Next time you come out, we’d like to meet up with you. We know that Elche has two universities so it would stand to reason that there would be some good colleges around too. Our youngest, Lukas who is 17 has just finished college back in the UK before we came here. Hope to see you sometime!

Thank you for your reply. We have now signed for our new home near Monovar, Pinoso and move in on 1st of July. Eilish, Mnady's daughter will join us at the end of August (16 in December) and home school for her exams. We are now making contacts with local families and very much look forward to contacting you when we move.

Good to hear you’ve got your house now.This may already be squared away but we would advise you to make sure that whatever the previous occupants are leaving in the house (lights, fridge/freezer etc) are agreed through the solicitors. We walked in to our house end of March to find not only bulbs missing but the cables cut really short so any new lights would be much harder to put in. Some estate agents do an inventory prior to the sale, which makes sure everything works. Your solicitor should retain some money from the vendors for 6 months after the sale so that you can claim for anything that needs fixing within those 6 months but you need to be in the house of course to assess this.
