Hi. I have just bought a property in Guardamar del Segura. I am currently learning to play golf in the UK. I will only be in Guardamar ad hoc. I don’t have a handicap. I would really like to find a club close to Guardamar as I won’t have a car. To practice and hopefully find someone who would do a few holes with me followed by a cheeky G and T. Any ideas! Thanks loads. Den x
Nearest golf courses to Guardamar are Rojales (~7km) and La Finca near Algorfa (~18km).

I assume you have your own clubs.
Cheapest golf is Vistabella http://www.vistabellagolf.com/en/, circa 25 mins from Guardamar.

I would suggest that you check around your local bars for a Golf Society, a perfect way to enjoy your game, meet new friends and have the transport issue resolved.

Hi. Yes I will bring out clubs and will use a taxi. I think Riojas is my nearest golf club to Guardamar? Do you know if there is a driving range there? I have been trying to find the Guardamar Golf Society on line but it doesn’t seem to come up. Cheers.

The golf society are run by individual pubs so you will have to see which pubs have them.
They usually play on a Thursday and cost around 50 euros.
If none in the village try the bars over in Benimar

Beniamar is about a 15 minute, maybe slightly less drive from Guardamar main town.

Thanks. I won’t have a car so will be reliant on being mainly local. I believe there is a driving range at one of the clubs. I may head there to start. Cheers. Den
