Jim, You are the man.  I have been searching for ages to find a bus service that I can get from Alicante Airport to Daya Vieja or as near as I can.  I keep hitting brick walls and web sites in only Spanish.  Can you or anyone help with this?

If not next time I am over I suppose best way is to look at the airport on the bus stands?

Any ideas appreciated.

Some questions I either know the answers or can find them easily, but in this case there doesn't seem to be an easy answer.

Looking at the airport website (no need to wait until you get here), all the bus routes are detailed (in English) here:

Unfortunately, there isn't a route passing near Daya Nueva or Almoradi.

It looks like you'd have to get the bus to Alicante or Elche, then down to Almoradi.

It looks like the Agostense bus from Alicante to San Miguel goes through both Daya Nueva and Almoradi, but they only show one bus a day:

But buses from Alicante to Almoradi run very frequently:

Hopefully the above will give you some food for thought.

The airport bus from Torrevijeca picks up in Guardamar bus station I think. You would need to check but that is the easier option.

Good afternoon everyone, my family have an apartment in Formentera Del Segura that we are currently staying in. We’ve visited some lovely restaurants and pubs. I thought I’d reach out to others who know more about the local area. Could you recommend any places to drink and eat that we may not have visited already? Also, could you recommend bus/train journeys to any of the local cities and landmarks? Thanks in advance, Simon, Sian and Joshua.

There are some good bus trips with David's Coaches or Rosa Tours that pick up by the BP garage next to Consum in Benimar. They go to various interesting places. 

Also do you have a car  if so the Hondon Valley and Elche are worth a visit.
