What is the public transport like in Formentera Del Segura

Hi, We are looking at renting a place here in early July but as we will not be renting a car as we dont have a credit card and the cost to rent a car then doubles i was wondering what the public transport was like, and also a rough idea of taxi prices to Guardamar beach. Thanks in advance. Claire
