Hi all,
In the week that saw the UK announce the efficacy of Dexamethasone in the treatment of Covid-19 patients:
and the World Health Organisation halt trials of Hydroxychoroquine:
I read an interesting interview in The Telegraph with Dr Peter Daszak about the
long-term management of coronaviruses. I thought his views of the role played by global politics particularly interesting, not least because, in the grand scheme of things, World leaders could have afforded not to let this disaster happen:
I wonder whether, instead of the usual short-termism and greed of so-called World leaders, those in the future will learn anything by today's mistakes? History suggests not, but I live in hope........
Kind regards,
Kim
