Hello, I’m new to the forum. We are planning to visit our apartment in Formentera from the UK next week (at long last!) and will need to get tests to return to the UK. Can anyone recommend a local place where we can get tested? Many thanks

If you bring the test with you how do you
1) Do the test and get the result
2) get a certificate with your passport details etc

Hi,
When you have taken the test you take a picture of it and send it to them. They then send you the certificate via email.
Hope this helps.

That sounds like a good idea, especially if you’ve not got transport to get to somewhere in Spain to do it for you.

Hi ,I heard on Harmony fm on Wednesday that from next Tuesday 20 July pharmacies in Spain were to start selling PCR and Antigen tests ,they didnt mention price ,but did say in Germany they could be bought at Lidl ,5 for 22euros and I think they were 8 euros in France ,which made me wonder if they could be used to get back to UK ,but I wondered how it would work ,but your explanation seems perfectly feasible ,so I will visit a pharmacy near me on Tuesday and ask the question ,it could be start of easier and cheaper tests

Hi John,
to get back into England you need to enter the reference number you get from the company that you buy your day 2/8 tests from on to the travel locator form you need to complete before returning to the UK. The tests must to be bought from UK Gov approved suppliers. You probably know more about getting back into Scotland than I do but I imagine the process is similar.
By the way, I read the attached this morning, something to key an eye on if you are thinking of driving back to the UK via France soon.
Aitch.

I’m sure I read in the Spanish press that these tests would not produce a certificate that you require for the fit to fly test. I’ll see if I can find the article

Hi, thanks to everyone for their responses. The Co-Op pharmacy website says: "A lateral flow test kit which allows you to travel back to the UK with a negative test certificate following a negative test result".
So I think we will go for these.
Thanks again
