Hi guys does anyone know the best way to insure an EU car coming from Ireland to Spain? I assume our irish insurance company might not cover us in another country. Its a fair trek from Bilbao to Alicante and I want to make sure we are properly insured while travelling.

We travel in an Irish car when we visit Spain and we get a green card from our insurance company to show we are covered . I don't know if all insurance companies do but you could ask . Under EU law you are covered for third party insurance . Hope this helps
