Hi all,

Gov.UK have updated their guide to driving in the EU.  UK citizens driving their UK vehicle abroad now need to display a "UK" sticker, instead of "GB":

"If you’re driving on or after 28 September 2021, you’ll need a UK sticker instead of a GB sticker."

😄

I think I have seen SCO stickers on cars - no prizes for guessing which way the drivers would vote in an independence referendum! 😉

Hi ,have done this many times and to be honest its a doddle ,we live in Torrevieja. Just make sure you plan your journey well ,in that I mean pee stops and water for dog (and you if needs be) There are plenty of places for stopping en route and you will find that the roads are much more pleasant to drive than in the UK. Just keep your wits about you when going around Madrid for exits etc .I used to do it in one go so never stopped in a hotel unless I was doing it from northern France and then I would stop at a pet friendly hotel around Bordeaux ,there are plenty on line and for Spain if you wish to do the trip over two days. Good luck and safe journey.

via michelin do a site for the route and give 3 directions ,personally I would go via Madrid or Zaragoza .I believe the AA do a site to and you can print out the journey .
