I have just moved to Formantera

I also live in Formentera - I've lived here for 6 years, on the outskirts of Los Palacios, with my husband and our dog.  Are you living in the village?  It's a nice place with most things in the village centre.  If you need any help or advice, just ask, I'd be happy to help if I can.

Just up from the square from the church there is an art and craft place if you like crafting, next door is the wool shop worth popping  in to see if they are doing any groups. During these hot summer days the square is a good place for a coffee and to meet people.  Sunnleys have music and quiz nights at the back of the village past the swimming pool  plus great Sunday lunch  worth popping in  they also do a book exchange if you like reading and you'll get a friendly welcome.  Welcome to Formentera  I've had a holiday home there for 15 years  it's a lovely friendly village. 

We live in losPalacios which is part of the village. We’ve been here for 13 years and love, love love it.

August is fiesta time in Formentera. You can get a programme from the Ayuntamiento.  We have our own Peña - group - so we can book places at events, like the paella cooking competition. We’ve entered for 12 years but never come close to winning, but joining in is great fun! We also run a charity quiz on Wednesday evenings in the Tipsy tortoise. Come along. We’ll find you dome team mates!
