Hi,

Can anyone please recommend an English driving instructor in Formentera? I have my full UK driving licence & just need to do the theory & driving exam.

Thanks

I think the theory and driving tests are in Spanish and do not do them in English.

I'm not even sure if you will find an English driving instructor.

I could be wrong!!!!

Sue 😘

For anything to do with driving in Spain can I suggest that you have a look at the N332 website.   It is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil, whose Trafico part is the one that is concerned, and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.

Hi there,

try SENALES in Rojales.  The young lady there (Nadina) sent me some information regarding the Spanish Driving Test. on my whatsapp.    Quite involved, but I do believe there is an English speaking instructor.

Most Spanish driving schools offer the theory and practical tests in English.

Just go into them and ask for details etc.

Theory can be done in English, you are only allowed to get 4 wrong out of 30 questions.

Practical test the majority of examiners are spanish speaking only.  You can get their permission to have a translator in the car in the back seat, check with driving test centre.

I'm interested in your comment in relation to requesting an interpreter for the practical test,  do you have firsthand experience of this and how it worked?

I do not have first hand experience, but a fruend of mine did.  The driving instructor he used spoke spanish and was allowed to sit in the back of the test car.
