Not wishing to get anyone's hopes up, but this looks like a potentially interesting development for Northern Ireland citizens who, because of Brexit, would otherwise lose their rights to the EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) from 1 January 2021:

This is looking very positive-I have been checking Irish government website weekly for update so this seems to be a brilliant development. We are from Belfast but in Spain currently with fingers and toes crossed that this will all be sorted by year end 🎉🎉🎉
