Hi all

Thanks so much for your help re TV/ satellite etc....

My next query is more of a plea...we arrive on Sunday 20th Jan to collect keys to our apartment...however I believe that all shops and supermarkets nearby are closed on Sunday's.... Could anyone offer advise on where we might be able to buy some milk? And a bottle of celebratory wine would be handy too 😊

Also is Mongomereys bar open on Sunday at all? or any other places to unwind?

Or do these all close on Sunday's too?

Many thanks all for your time help and advise.

Kerry

However we won't have a car this trip.....do you know of any in walking distance from Formentera?

We have a transfer from the airport to meet estate agent at the apartment.....I think we will just have to buy a couple of basics at the airport....as long as we have a couple of bottles of water and some milk for the morning,I'm sure we can muddle through.

Thank you Rupert

I had thought about that.....but wasn't sure if that would have been an imposition.

I think I might consider that.... It is just a couple of things after all.

Thanks

Thanks Kim

Yes we are a bit chuffed and excited! 😊

Thanks for the info too.....a bottle of fizz would be very welcome! 👏😊

And I think I will ask for a couple of bits just for the Sunday to tide us over.

Looking forward to getting to know the area and getting our bearings.....if you have any recommends for places to eat etc all info welcome and gratefully received.

Thanks very much

Kerry

We've seen it and viewed it....and if memory serves I believe it's quite central in Formentera ...

But very much an adventure discovering the area etc.....very excited it's something I've wanted to do since I was very young....I do love the Spanish way of life! And the food, the people and of course the weather helps too! 😊

Hi thank you....

Yes....all on the list

But only using as a holiday bolt hole for a few years until my partner can take early retirement.

We have our NIEs and insurance in place already...and will work the important priorities one at a time.

Lots to do...😊
