Hi all,

I love Manchego cheese, but didn't know the history of its development.  I've just read this article and thought it may be of interest to other members:

Kind regards,

Kim

Interesting article  - I might even try bottling some in oil  as it sounds like a nice Christmas treat.

Interesting article , there are so many good Spanish cheeses. I love them all. I don't think a lot of people realise how diverse a range of cheeses there are.

Very interesting  article. I’ll be off to the market to buy some. As yet only tasted a couple of Spanish cheeses. Shame that Cheese & Wine tasting nights don’t happen.

(See web-site A Taste of Spain. Worth a trip)

This tour through the heart of La Mancha invites you to enjoy a unique culinary experience.

You will visit an extraordinary Manchego cheese producer, whose cheeses are found at some of the world’s best gourmet stores and a prestigious La Mancha winery. A good route is from nr Alcalá del Júcar, en Albacete
