Hi, we are looking to rent in Formentera Del Segura possibly in August this year.  I have done my research (online!) but it would be lovely if you could give me your own view on the village, accessibility to the beaches and airport etc.  Any advice re the padron and registering for this would be most welcome.

Many thanks,

Noeline

Hi Noeline,

Formentera del Segura has the usual amenities, such as bars, restaurants, a couple of banks, pharmacy, police station, medical centre, etc.  It also has a supermarket on the primary road that runs through the village, and there are several other supermarkets less than a 5 minute drive at Los Palacios and Rojales.  The nearest beach is about a 10 minute drive away at Guardamar del Segura.  It's about a 40 minute drive from Alicante airport, if you come down the N332 coast road.

Unless you are planning to apply for residency, i.e. exceeding 90 days in Spain, you are not allowed to sign.on to the Padron.

Kind regards,

Kim
