Spain to cut tax rate on electricity bills

Hi all,
Following the Spanish government's reduction last year in IVA (VAT) on electricity bills, from 21% to 10%, Prime Minister Sanchez announced today that the government plans a further reduction from 10% to 5%, which would be approved at an extraordinary cabinet meeting on Saturday “to continue to protect citizens from the effects of the war.”
