I am buying a property in Gaianes and have no connection to electric so will need to install a good solar power system. I have looked at doing this myself but don’t understand it all that well and wondered if there are any nearby companies that sell and install these systems and how much they cost?

I was quoted minimum of €10,000 but probably closer to €14,000 as a ball park figure. I have also seen posts on here that the expense doesn't stop there!
Thank you for your advice Cheryl. That seems quite high for the type of system I require. small one bed finca only devices really need to power are fridge, laptops, phones and lights maybe only need 4 solar panels tops.
I’ll have to do some more research and might end up doing it myself if can’t find cheaper quote.

Given where you are, you might be interested in what a friend who lives in l'Olleria said in an email to me:

and they do full installations (maybe without the commission as referral from solarinspain.).
Look at the site (Spanish) but ring Vicente on 615 01 05 39 cos he is their Solar specialist.
I use them direct and they do supply and install full systems with review of requirements etc. and maintenance contracts etc. for everything.
You might like to mention 'Ken in L'Olleria' as referral !! "
