Does anyone know where you can get a flu injection.  I have asked at a number of pharmacies but they all say they cannot provide one.  We are willing to pay but just dont know where to go.  Any advice would be appreciated

Many thanks

Kathy

Are you registered with a Centro Salud?

Or visiting up to 90 days?

Sorry, I can't help any further.

If you have applied for Residencia you would have private health insurance or an S1 and in those circumstances would be able to get a jab if you're in a risk age group.

We have private health insurance (doesn't cover vaccinations).

We have made appointments with GP at Quiron hospital, Torrevieja and hope to be given the prescription and then be given the jab.

A translator at the hospital told me this was how to do it.

Don't know the cost yet.

Out of interest if you are British with Spanish residency will you have to pay for the COVID Vaccine when it becomes available.

Hello

I don't think having residencia will support  a free vaccination but having a Spanish health card --SIP might, along the lines of the flu vaccine & any  others offered by by the spanish health authority, after all we are afforded the same rights as spanish nationals.

Guess we will have to wait & see

My health centre rang me last week to go in for mine yesterday. I have Residencia and SIP.
