HI,

Trying to hire a car for April 7th for a week. Over the last few years we have used Pulsar (subsiduary of Goldcar) always gone direct but just found out that Goldcar have closed them down. Got a quote from Goldcar of £230/week including insurance etc. This is really expensive for this time of the year. We refuse to use Credit cards or leave any large deposit which many of the car hire compnaies started to implement and we only pay using debit cards. Can anyone recommend a good reliable (and Cheap) car hire company based in or close to the main airport?

Try Lara cars, you can pay cash if you like, they meet you at arrivals and take you to the car which is on the multi-storey car park at the airport
