Hi, anyone advise me about opening a bank account, no residence, preferably do it online, what I need, had BBVA account but they closed it because lack of use and spent hours last September in office, eventually left because my payslip, passport and Nie number wasn't sufficient to open new account, cheapest charges and as I said can I do it online as I don't know when I'll get over exactly

I set up an account easily with Sabadell but you do have to be present. There is a charge of €30 per quarter but a great app in English and lots of English speaking staff in most branches.
You will need to be present to set up an account though, I think most banks have this rule in the U.K. too as it relates to money laundering and identity theft.

I'm with Sabadell and don't have a charge ,maybe you have a different type of account.
