Just wondered if it is possible for Spanish utilities to take out direct debits from n26 online bank, which I believe is a German bank. According to a solicitor, direct debits can only be taken out of a Spanish bank account, online or otherwise.

There are many forum members that use "Wise" online banking. Those members have posted that is is easy to set up direct debits to pay their utility bills here in Spain.

Thanks Steve, going to look into it, sabodell bank charges of 50euros per quarter are ridiculous just for a few direct debits.

Hi Steve. We live in gran alacant. We use N26 to pay all our bills. Never had any problems.
