we have an apartment in Gran Alicant, when we had wifi installed we went to GranAlicant TV up the top end opposite the thursday market. We have had no issues with it at all, if you pay in advance for the year you also get a 20% discount.

We have problems also. It was fine earlier this year when we moved here, but now some days it's fine and other days it just works as and when it pleases itself. We tried a different router, but still the problems persist...

I have recently spoken to a neighbor of ours who is Spanish who also has Gran Net(now Flexi-cable) and he has the same problems - intermittent internet.

He tells me the that Gran Net has been taken over by Flexi-cable, and apparently it is going to sold again to another company...

Unfortunately it looks like we just have to put up with it, as their customer service cant resolve the issue.

Is Telfy available in your location? They do fibre and sound like could offer a better service than you are getting?

Just an update about Flexi-cable and their internet service.

We had no internet for around 5 hours yesterday morning. Around midday, 2 of their engineers were in the complex and got it working again - we didn't call them, so others must have had the same issues.

This morning no internet again when we woke up - its now just started working again...

If you dont use your internet very often then its not really a problem, but very frustrating if you do!

Grannet do seem to be struggling a little, as seems to be quite a few grumbles against reliability & service. Are there any other providers in Gran Alicant?  Telfy for example?
