If you want run anything with an electric motor - desk fan, portable washing machine etc, you will need a pure sine-wave inverter as the normal, cheaper modified sine-wave ones will not do this. If you only want to run basics like a TV and lights etc, then a cheap one will do.
Amazon.es sell 12V inverters and you can have one delivered in a few days.

Hi Greg, yes thanks I have look at the ones on Amazon , & yes i do want pure sine wave inverter. My original one wasn't . Been all over in Alicante looking one, but apart from odd ones(not suitable) in Leroy Merlins hard to find. One shop wanted over 400 euros was exact same one on Amazon at about 150 euros . I really needed it for Friday but will wait until we return from our travels in Sept . Thanks for your reply Bill

Hi Bill, my only other advice is to be careful of eBay if your thinking of getting one from there. I purchased a pure sine-wave one in the UK from a seller with 100% feedback, but when i installed it in our motorhome it caused interference with the TV and surround-sound system, so it had to return it.
I ended up buying one from this company, who were extremely helpful on the phone - www.newenergyco-op.co.uk. They might even ship to Spain if you ring them up and ask?
When i compared the two, even though they were both rated at the same power, the one from the UK supplier above was almost twice the weight of the Chinese eBay one! It was clearly far superior and performed faultlessly - it used to run our twin-tub washing machine just fine, and even ran an electric lawnmower when i mowed the grass outside the motorhome, without any problems and all on solar power!
Enjoy your travels.

Hi Greg, no not eBay I will buy from Amazon. Think the one Navarro caravans fitted was chinky & modified sine wave, cheap crap. Would never buy from them again. Bought my new motorhome there. Salesman was good but the fitters & boss nothing but a lier. Problem in Spain is consumer people have no powers. No point in taking them to court as they are professional lies & con merchants.
