Good afternoon all.
If Spain allows UK tourists 🙏🤞, we would like to visit our 2nd home in Gran Alacant from 11th June (Last visit January 2020).
Could anyone please tell me where to book the appropriate tests near to Gran Alacant for return to the UK?  We are both fully vaccinated and will take whatever measures are required to keep ourselves and others safe.
Many thanks

DAM Health in Alicante city centre. It is the Antigen test that costs only €39 and you get the results emailed to you on the same day. This test is acceptable for travel to the UK. My husband and I both had it.

According to the Independent the UK will accept results from a lateral flow test for re-entry. You can get these test kits free on the NHS. You might want to consider getting a supply and taking with you. We will be.

Thank you for responding. Do you think they will allow this? I thought it had to be the PCR test?  How would you get the results for uk lateral flow tests if you are in Spain?  Wouldn’t you need a Spanish test result to take to the airport on return?
sorry so many questions.

Check out my response to your original question earlier. The test centre in Spain will send the results by email. You can show this on your phone at the airport or print out a copy. Both my husband and I have recently done this. It is perfectly adequate.

You don't need a PCR test to enter the UK. An Antigen one is perfectly adequate. We have done it recently, costing only €39 each.

No you have a device in the kit which you use which after 30 mins tells you the result. You then record the number on the NHS website and get an email and text response confirming your result which I presume you use to show boarder control.

Google the Independent newspaper article.

Get some kits now, try them out for yourself and see how it works. We do it twice a week for my wife who works in a school, and my children attending school and college.

I understand that Spain is on the amber list not on the green list, so travel to Spain isn't allowed
