Expired ITV

We haven’t been able to get to Spain for a while and the ITV on the car expired in April. If I make an appointment can I drive it to the test centre?
No, not legally.

Simple answer is, no. You may have some forum advice to follow....... Many have been in the same situation. Some just risk it ( or get the local garage to organise it on your behalf). But the legal answer is ,"no". V
Plus the police are cracking down on it. Whereas before you could probably get away with driving it to a pre booked appointment, it has been reported that this will no longer have a blind eye turned and a car with no valid ITV will not be allowed on the road.
This has been posted a couple of times on here. Here's just one article from Nov last year explaining it but there have been lots of press reports as well. Expired ITV means a grua to the testing station.

If its parked at the airport many of these companies will get the ITV done for you.
