Hi everyone,

After a 2 and a half year wait, we're flying out to Gran Alacant (my happy place) with Jet 2.

However, we're due to fly home on Thursday 15th September, the  first planned day of industrial action at Alicante airport..

What's the feeling over there at the moment? Is it likely to go ahead? Do these things generally get resolved before taking industrial action?

Just trying to prepare ourselves.

Kind regards and thanks

Mike

We flew in august on a few of  the proposed "strike" days, was absolutely fine, I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about

Ryanair cabin crew are supposed to be striking Monday to Thursday this week, but my friend flew back with Ryanair yesterday and she said everything was normal.

Kind regards,

Kim

Just got off the plane 10 mins ago. Having a quick 🍺, and everything as normal. Enjoy your stay
