Hi,

I see now, after signing and paying the reserveration of a contract to buy a house from Masa all bad news....

Does anyone know how the condition of the company at this moment is?

I don't get any reaction on mails, we have paid for a reservation. Can we stop the contract? (however we know it costs us the reservation fee).

Even after all news, we love the house and place where they build the houses...

Is there anyone from Holland with a good or bad experience who we can contact?

Looking forward for your advice.

Mark H

Hi, we used to have a house in Gran Alacant, but have now moved to Lliber, and we had huge problems with Masa. They are a really bad company, we used a local solicitor who we got nowhere with, then I got in touch with Oscar Recor, and he resolved the problem with them very quickly. I would strongly suggest you contact him.

Good luck.

Hello. We originally reserved a house with Masa in Gran Alacant and they did no work for two years after which we got out of our contract. It was very complicated. Masa is always on the verge of bankruptcy - they owe the Town Hall millions - and they have many ‘shell’ companies that they instruct to carry out the construction. Unfortunately when they experience bad financial situations they put these ‘shell’ companies into bankruptcy - this happened to our neighbours half way through construction and they had to employ an independent builder at their own cost to complete the property.

if you can I would cancel the contract and I would advise anyone never to buy a house from MASA, they have no integrity and care nothing for people who lose €000’s on their unprofessional games.
