Holiday in gran alacant info please

I thank you in advance for any information we are a family of four visiting gran alacant for 17 days in August we have just a few questions if anyone can help

1. What day is the local market in gran alacant and where can we find it we are self catering and have heard it's cheaper for fruit and veg etc?

2. Is there a park for the kids where we can take a picnic?

3. Any advice on how much I will need for 17 days we like to eat out every night but will have lunches and breakfast mostly at the villa and won't be doing any trips we were thinking 100 euros a day will this be enough not been spain for a long time?

In answer to your questions :

1. The GA Market is held every Thursday on Avenida Escandanavia next to the Sports Centre at the top of Gran Alacant! Yes fruit and veg is in plentiful supply there and is usually slightly cheaper than the supermarkets. More info here http://www.alicanteholidayvillas.com/gran-alacant-street-market

2. There are many playparks for children all over Gran Alacant and there is also El Clot Nature Reserve which has a dedicated picnic area! Depending on where you are staying in Gran Alacant, there is a large playpark and picnic area called Sierra de Santa Pola on the corner of Avenida Escandanavia and Avenida Mediterraneo (opposite the Post Office). 3. With regard to your budget. 100 Euros a day for dinner should be plenty! There are loads of restaurants in Gran Alacant and many do a fixed price menu for around €12 - 15 in the evenings.
