Hello

My family and I are planning to move to GA early 2018. I have 2 children aged 3 & 5.

I would really like to chat with other mums/families who have done something similar and are now living in GA, or nearby.

It would be really helpful to chat over the next few weeks or so...in preparation for our move.

I really look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Kindest regards

Lynne

There are lots of young families in Gran Alacant and as your children are 3 and 5, they are both eligible for state schooling and you will be able to meet lots of mums there of different nationalities who have done just what you are doing.  The library is also a good place to look for activites offered to youngsters and again plenty of parents around.  My own children are now grown-up and we have young grandchildren and found that during the holiday periods when they visit we quickly meet up with other granparent/parents as children are so quick in forming friendships in the park etc.  Hope you enjoy your new life in GA.

Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. Gran Alicant seemed a friendly place when we were there. And juat as you say, we net aime friendly parents at the parks...and also when we were in at the state school meeting the head teacher.

We have a good group of friends here and I will be sad for my children as they will miss their friends....so really hoping we can establish friendships quite easily.
