Hi,
We have arranged a viewing trip for £99 for 3 nights. Does anyone have any recent experiences? The company is Spanish Legal Homes. We just wanted an idea of what to expect.
Thanks!

A hard sell.
There's only one reason for these trips and it's not to provide you with your dream dwelling.
My advice, if you can cancel then do so. If not and you continue with the trip be prepared to be pressured.
Research and research again where you want to buy and what is available for your budget. Spend the money on a budget flight and hire car and stay in the area for as long as you can
Arrange any viewings yourself with different agents and take your time.
There are thousands of dwellings for sale there is no rush and no pressure to buy anything.

Perhaps you should have a read through previous threads and make your own assessment
This is a link to the same company, different trading name
We used them to show us around for a day many years ago.
We already had booked a short trip to go house hunting and spoke to them at A Place in the Sun exhibition, so they “volunteered” their services for the day. They took us to look at 10 properties in one day,but didn’t give us any property details, so I sat in the back of the car having to make notes on where we’d been and things like price of property and layout etc. They claimed not to have the exact details of IBI or community charges. None of the properties really met the specification we’d given them, but because we haven’t done the paid viewing trip, we didn’t have to sit through any hard sell procedure.
After that we just called in at another estate agent, they pulled up numerous property details we sat in the office discussing the properties and the pros and cons of the areas and made arrangements with them to take us round the following day. A much more pleasurable experience .

You can expect pressure and hard sell, do not be tempted or pressured into signing anything or agreeing to anything during this trip, no matter what they tell you there are plenty bargains out there, do your research.
Much better to organize a long holiday and look at areas and different agents houses / offers.

Agree as above. In addition, you will (may) tend to feel captive during the intensive visit, as it is not productive for them, for you to make potential other contacts.

Agree with everything said. We arranged our own flights and accommodation and spent 1 day each with Agents of our choice viewing specific properties we had seen on-line. No pressure from any Agent as they knew we were seeing others. I can't recommend strongly enough that you re-think as the pressure on you will be enormous.

I would be tempted to write off the 99, even if you can’t get it back and make your own arrangements. I realise this will involve greater expense, but you really don’t want to be snarled up with these outfits.

It’s easy to set yourself up some viewings . I would never do a package .
Browse idealista or fotocasa etc …make a short list of what catches your eye . Contact the agents involved and tell them you are only in the area for a short time but hoping to find a place before you leave.
The agents will try get access to the properties for you within your time frame. Set up as many as you can & want. If you find something , make an offer !

Thanks for the replies, seems to be a resounding no with regard to the trip!
