Taxi cost from Alicante Airport to Av Carabasi, Monte Y Mar

Hi, my sister and niece are renting a friend's house at Urbanisation Monte Visa, Av Carabasi, Monte Y Mar. Got a quote online from Sun Transfers return of €61.67 with 2 cabin bags but this seems expensive compared with similar journey time in the UK. Please can you kindly advise regarding approximate price of getting a cab at the airport? Is there a local person or company that do Airport runs?

Gran Alacant is very close to the airport and should be a reasonable price by taxi.

60€ is very high. I would guess a normal taxi would only be about 25€. You can easily get one from the airport.

Taxi from the airport to Ave Carabassi is 20 euros maximum 25 euros.

As above. Last month I got a taxi from the airport to my apartment opposite the bars in Carabassi, and it was 21.30 euro's. I also paid by debit card. Just get in one at the airport, no need to book anything.

YYou can get a taxi outside for 20 euro to gran alacant, there are loads outside

I agree that €60 is high - but bear in mind this is a return price so not overly above the seemingly normal rate of 20 - 25 each way, as others have said, jump in a cab at the airport, as they all adhere to standardised rates and there shouldn’t be any rogue drivers who inflate the cost
