Any one know what the procedure is for closing electric Iberdrola account and Aqujest water. I have sold my house and canceled both direct debits all up to date but bills are still coming in through my bank account past my moving date.Should I contact the companies. Or do the lawyers sort this out?

Just instruct your bank to not accept anymore direct debits from the involved suppliers, and bouce back any unwanted debits within 2 months - that's the law.

You need to close the accounts. If you didn't ask your solicitor to do this they probably haven't. Maybe go back to them and ask them to do it for you, might be the easiest solution. But be aware they may want a pre paid fee from you to do that, it's quite normal.
