We have been used to dealing with DVlabs on the El Raso complex, with a contract that allowed us to Switch On and Off for our stays. Usually for a month at a time.

This covered our television channels (UK) and internet, for about 39 euros a month.  It was good service and we were pleased with it.

DVlabs have apparently been taken over, and the new Company (Go Fibre) will not provide this option to us.

Is there a company who provides a similar RELIABLE service in the area?

I would appreciate any suggestions and advice anyone has.
We are visiting our Holiday Home in mid November for the first time this year and are trying to sort things out.

Many thanks for any help and comments.

Thank you for your update.  I appreciate your comments.
I have not heard of Ronnie Roketz, are they/he on the estate?

We could recall another office advertising WiFi that was behind the Coffee Shop. Is that Meganet?  I read on Talk Quesada that their service was not the best, and a bit unreliable. Have you heard anything about them locally?

All being well, we are due out in a fortnight, and will visit the offices to try and sort out some sort of deal......provided Ryanair don’t cancel our flights!

Many thanks. Fay

Ronnie is a lady who used to work in the Meganet shop in front of the Coffee Shop which is now closed incidently. She still represents Meganet albeit thru online, she also does a TV package as well. I believe Meganet get a really good write up for supplying internet and they do have presence in El Raso.

We are also out in November and will be trying to get a package as well, and that is as you say Ryanair do not cancel the flights.

We will look at Meganet online now, and then when we arrive we will have some idea of the products online.  If we don’t have any luck there, perhaps I can contact you again and get the link to contact Ronnie re her package.

My husband needs to work occasionally when we are in Spain, so a reliable constant source of internet is important.

Fingers crossed, we came into Tier 3 today so as long as taxis can get us to the airport and the flight stays live, it’s all systems go!  We have so missed our Apartment, can’t wait to get there.
 Thanks for your help. Fay

I have been a very happy user of DVBLAB for TV and WiFi for 2 years , using their switch on/off service.  I last used it at the beginning of October.  I have heard nothing of them being taken over by GoFiber and the services on offer changing. How did you find out?   Did DVBLAB contact you?

I will be very disappointed if the service we paid alot to install not so long ago is no longer available.

I switched on DVBLAB in Quesada in Sep/Oct no problem.  I believe DVB sold their El Raso business to GOFIBRE.  So only the El Raso  area  is affected.    Been with DVB for a few years now and very happy with their service.  Long may they continue.

Yes, DVLabs have stopped serving the El Raso area for some reason.

We received an email back in the summer from DV Labs advising us of this.  It would seem that Go Fibre are not keen on the Switch On/Off system that’s we all like.

Thank you for your comments.
