Exchanging UK driving licence without TIE
Hi.
My wife and I moved here just over a month ago and have retained a gestor to help us with securing residency. As I think is common however, there don't seem to be any appointments available. I've been assured that isn't a problem and that as long as we can demonstrate that we have lived here then the residency application should still be treated under the terms of the WA, even if that application isn't completed until next year. (But do let me know if this isn't correct).
My main concern though is that I need to exchange my UK driving licence for a Spanish one before December 31st and I believe I need a TIE to be able to do this.
Does anyone know if this exchange can be done without a TIE? Or what the consequences of continuing to drive with a UK licence will be after the transition period ends?
Many thanks.
