Some advice please
We are resident here in guardamar, We went back to the UK for Christmas and returned back to Spain 31st January with the intention of returning back to the UK within a month unfortunately
Due to the situation all boarders closed ferries suspended cant see any time soon to go back
We have a UK car haven't got the money to re register but don't want to with going back to the UK
Any advise appreciated

It would be a problem if you stay in Spain for so long and with the lock down it is not a problem at all. The police is just stoping a lot of people on the roads to check where you go.
If you dont go so far with the car police will not say something to you at all.

Yes I d0o I have been intouch with the dvla in the UK they say Spain has said everything ok
They r giving 12 months for ur stay in Spain on UK plates thank you x

I'd double check in Spain if I were you. As far as I'm aware it's illegal to drive a UK registered car in Spain if you have a Spanish driving licence.

I'd imagine that is for people who have just arrived, not for Spanish residents, if you're a Spanish resident it is illegal to drive a UK registered car, or any car that isn't Spanish registered, even if it's for 1 hour, but what you do is obviously your choice.
I think you are contacting the wrong people in any case, you need to be asking somewhere official here. I wouldn't speak to someone in a foreign country about the rules in a different country. That's like calling someone in Italy and asking about the rules in Switzerland.
