Are there any pensioners in Guardamar who would like to join or form an activity related club? I'm open to art groups, writing, Spanish conversation, general meet and chat or anything else  you are prepared to suggest. If numbers permit I am happy to host. English is my first language but any nationality welcome. Send me your ideas and contact details. Let's make friends!

Hello Kay, My wife Joan & I are members of the Pensionisters club, where they had activities pre-covid !  A few ladies currently meet for cards late afternoon. membership was 7€ and we could meet you there. It is at the corner of the Town Hall nearest the Tourist Office. At the moment no bar or refreshments, but I presume that we could take our own. I can drive locally and we have bus passes. Joan can walk very slowly due to arthritis but we want to get exercise in a swimming pool that is user-friendly; e.g. a hand rail all around the water-line, easy steps, mixed changing cubicles etc. We were members of Marjal Sport but we would love to rejoin with a few companions.

There is a poster outside the Pensioisters advertising a lunch on Friday September 30th, the price for members 10€ but non-members 15€. We live opposite the Bus Station & taxi rank but walk slowly to most places within Guardamar.. I am a member of the Costa Blanca Bird Club (CBBC can be found on the internet). I might resume walking with the 'Marina Walking Group' when it cools down. I also walk in the La Mata Natural Park when its cooler. Please send me a private message if you wish. I hope that this is useful to you, Peter132
