Thanks so much Ros4111, that’s really kind of you.  I did check the Novalexspain website and emailed them.  They were very prompt replying but said they had not merged with GLC and didn’t offer any other info, though said they could help us with legal services.  I want to make contact with GLC, or at least know what has happened to them as they have some original documents of ours.

I don’t understand why the firm hasn’t made contact with their clients if they have ceased trading. 🤔

www.glasesores.com Our solicitor was Mrs Amparo.  I have been confused with the two firms having similar names, but have checked with Novalex and they confirmed their merge was with GM Legal Experts, not GLC.  If I don’t get anywhere with my search I may have to accept their offer of help to try and track down our documents, but of course that will entail fees I would rather keep to a minimum.  Have you had any dealings with Novalex yet? I've just paid our non residents tax with them but that was on the back of an email from GM Legal.
