Hi Looking to drive over to Spain with uk registered car and stay for 6 months
are there any companies who will insure for 6 months
any help appreciated

We go every year and are covered for 6 months by our UK Saga insurance.

Same for us Saga ( insurance for 50 and over).

Saga actually provides full cover for 12 months (within the EU)

I am covered by LV for 180 days, not as expensive as Saga.

I had fully comp Saga insurance and it was only £162.00 for the year for a Ford Focus which had the unlimited EU travel, I didn't think that was expensive. Our friends Insure their UK car over here with Abbygate Spanish Ins but not sure if you can do just 6 months Hope this helps.
Why not contact your existing insurance and ask if they will cover you, most do
