For IPTV you need a very good internet connection, hard to get in this area and even harder w/o a contract. Try to connect to open hot spots (Mc Donald, public libraries) but I give little chances.

Welcome to sunny Spain.
You will certainly need a dish, there may already be one at your place. You can use a Sky box to provide all the terrestrial channels . The wonderful thing is that you can access your local BBC news too which is always welcomed! We bring our Sky box with us as Sport is a must in our home. So, if you are planning to spend a long period of time in Spain, this might be your best option. If at home, somebody else needs the sky subscription, you could consider paying extra for another box...multi room . It costs about £12 extra monthly so would be good value for you.
There is no problem with security at airports as this is common practice I am told. We have never had any issues with Sky,thankfully. So many Sky customers have holiday homes all over the world and as they are paying a hefty sum for the pleasure, Sky have been turning a blind eye to this of late.
Please update and tell us how you eventually sort out TV. It is useful for future enquiries.

Many thanks for your invaluable help however, I am in a rental apartment until the end of June so unable to install a dish sadly.
I’ll keep at it until I find a way! Promise to update you with any result
Thank you for the welcome, that’s really nice of you 🙏

I support Miguel’s suggestion.
Most people living in Torrevieja will have an internet connection. Before our neighbour moved away, I asked him if we could use his internet connection. Initially,he said there was no need for payment but every time we came over, we gave him €10 even if it was for a week or a month. It worked perfectly for us and no doubt he was pleased with the donation.
Call into a tv shop and chat with the assistant, pick their brains. If you do subscribe to Sky in the UK, you will be able to watch Sky go in Spain. Sadly, we can’t get BBC I player but I am told that there are ways and means.
Check our the cost of internet connection...it can be as little as €10 per month depending where you live, subscribe to Netflix for €7.99 monthly and even during the worst weather, we watched back to back episodes of box sets.( ours is fibre optic cable). In the winter, you will need the comfort of your tv..
There may be a communal dish, speak with your president or ask an English speaking neighbour.
Good luck,

We were renting an apartment when we first came over and we asked the owner she had it installed and charged us the €10 monthly and now just adds it to her rental charge now as everyone wants internet now days.
