All those, by the way, are the Spanish NHS centres. If you are resident with a healthcard you will be able to use them. If you are visiting and have a GHIC you can use them for emergency or ongoing treatment (such as diabetes care, INR tests etc) and you can use the A&E department at Torrevieja hospital.
If you are a private insurance user your provider should supply you with a list of private doctors and hospitals in the area (Quiron would be the nearest to you I think).
If you have an emergency you need you GHIC and photo ID.
You are advised to use an interpreter although I have never found this necessary at the hospital departments. Some doctors will speak English but are hesitant to do so because of misinterpretation. I always go with my wife to interpret and it usually ends up with the doctor telling me in Spanish and then telling my wife in English and looking at me for confirmation.
If you are here for a long time, up to 3 months, most of the health centres will issue you a temporary, paper, healthcard. This does not entitle you to ongoing treatment but just means you haven't got to fill in the paperwork every time. You need to pay for prescriptions but, in a lot of cases, will be able to claim that back from the NHS when you get home so make sure you get a receipt from the pharmacy.
