I am Irish 68 years old have worked all over the world and have now decided to retire here as i feel i can get the medical treatment i require in later years.i. I grew up in Cork Bishops-town area and later moved to Kinsale.  in County Cork..

I Have experience in sea going vessels  both sailing and mechanical and Diving both recreational and Saturation. and all mechanical needs.

I have decided to retire here it is so peaceful and accommodating to my needs i rent a year round apartment near the Parquemar hotel , The woods lakes near by are a jewel to behold with the nature

I am straight normal like cooking have a dog and i am open to discussion.

I have seen all sides of life but crave normality in all human species

I love fine wines and seafood..  and what a place to relish fine wines.

That's me i guess I guess I'm looking to enjoy my retirement here in peace.

Hi Brian,

Welcome to the forum.....

I know you will enjoy your retirement here in Spain as I have for the past 8 years.

Once you are fully settled here life can be so relaxing and much slower.

Enjoy life Brian,  enjoy your wine and food in the sun!!

Steve

Hi Brian and welcome to the forum!

Spain is a great country in which to retire, once you get your head around the bureaucracy.  Luckily for you, as an Irish citizen, moving here should be a relatively painless process.

Guardamar is a lovely town, with food and wine to suit all tastes and budgets, I'm sure you'll love it here.

Best wishes,

Kim

We are sooooo looking forward to some of that wine at that price!  We will be there for the month of May to scout out different areas of Guardamar and hoping to have our visa in place for October 1st.  Welcome Brian from a soon-to-be Guardamar resident.  Any advice you can give newcomers - send us a message when you have time.  Thank You!
