Hello, does anyone know where I can get my electric window motor replaced? The window motor is not powerful enough to raise the window up enough.
It's for a right hand drive , passenger window.
Model: Mercedes W124 Cabriolet 1996 E220..

Hello Dirk13, Try Costa Car Club at Carrer Obrers de Vila, 91, 03140 Guardamar del Segura, tel.633 11 45 77 costacar.club. It opens on Monday at 9am. I live nearby and have noticed them only in the last few weeks, so I think they are new at this address in the Santa Anna Poligonal Industrial Estate. There are several other specialist car repairers scattered throughout the Estate.
P.S. I don't know anything about the winder mechanism but maybe the window guides need cleaning or replacing. We get dirty rain with Sahara Desert sand. Maybe a squirt of beeswax or silicone polish will be beneficial. Also, if you don't know the area, take a look at 'Pick n Pay' for English groceries. Best wishes, Peter132

I reckon its more a cleaning job rather than a motor change. Probably better to get both sides serviced.
Roger Taylor in Montesinos has lots of experience with classic cars, My Merc and Jag were sorted by him.
