Hi I am only visiting for 3weeks starting 3rd February. Do you know if I will be able to hire a mobility scooter for my mother for short periods of time? Also is there a Lidl store in guardamar. Where would you recommend to eat out ( somewhere with reasonable

Tool hire centre in San Luis has mobility scooter for hire, they also do deliveries,
Opening hours are 08.00 till 14.00
Contact number 0034 966 78 62 25, you might better to book a mobility scooter in advance,

I can also recommend Don Buñuelo Platform 1 or the Shamrock for excellent reasonably priced food

Your nearest Lidl is in San Fulgencio just off the N332. You also have a choice of Aldi, Mercadona and Overseas Supermarket.
However depending whereabouts you are staying in Guardamar, you have a choice of Mercadona, Mas y Mas , Dia and Pic n Pay. There’s also 2 Carrefour Expresses either end of the town, but not sure if the southern one is open this time of year.
Load of restaurants in Guardamar, but at this time of year, choice will be fairly limited as lots of places close for staff holidays. I agree with the recommendation for Don Buñuelo and would also suggest visiting the Ice Queen for their breakfast platter. Don’t forget the Spanish eat much later than us so the evening opening hours will reflect this.

Ok so you’re south of the town, presumably by Roqueta Beach so many of the bars, restaurants and hotels in that area will be closed. But you’ll still find a small selection open, so don’t worry. Your nearest supermarket will be Mercadona.
You’re approximately a 25 minute walk from the centre of town ie. town hall, church , tourist information etc and the two fabulous parks are approx the same distance away.
Market day is Wednesday and is just under a 30 minute walk away. Most of the restaurants in your part of town will also open at around 8 - 8.30 for your evening meal.
Have a fabulous holiday.
